Reese's Original Peanut Butter Chip Cookies

Another sleepless night resulted in recipe searching and testing. A few hours, a few burns, and 15 dozen cookies later I was in heaven! I made (and sampled) oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, chocolate peanut butter chip, and came across the original Reese's peanut butter chip recipe (the new one is a chocolate based cookie). These cookies are delicious, definitely my new fav.

Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter or 1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups unsifted flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
Reese's peanut butter chips (amount of your preference, I use the whole bag)

Directions:
1.    Cream butter (or shortening), sugars, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
2.    Add eggs and beat well.
3.    Combine flour and baking soda.
4.    Add to batter and mix well.
5.    Stir in chips.
6.    Place by teaspoon fulls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
7.    Bake 350°F for 10-12 minutes.

Yield: 2 dozen cookies
